WeCanCode HACK Casablanca 2015!

This year HACK Casablanca will showcase a new challenge,"Code the World." The goal is to develop a project that encompasses and focuses on building greater good applications, hardware, or projects for the community, by the community.  

Areas of focus will include: Education, Government, and Water Conservation. 

The idea is to develop, create, build, and deploy a project that can improve viability or enhance experience on either area or all 3!

Eligibility

"WeCanCode Hack" focuses primarily on students and graduates , but computer field professionals are welcomed to join. Ninjas that are self taught with experience are also encouraged to join.

If you have a vision, passion to get things started, and the hardwork/determination to create change, you are what we are looking for!

Requirements

A good presentation will have a project description and an explanation of their ultimate goaland impact to the community. Demonstration should include a demo video showing the protype or project. All demonstrations will be given in presentation format.

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation of the Idea
    On a scale from 1-5 grade each submission on elements of creativity and originality. -Was the idea original? -is there similar products on the market? -have you heard of a similar solution?
  • Functional Implementation
    On a scale from 1-5 grade each submission on elements of execution. -How well was the idea was executed? -Workable protype? -Frameworks used? -Technical Difficulty?
  • Overall Quality and Visual Appeal
    On a scale from 1-5 grade each submission on elements of graphical design, typography, and visual aesthetics. -UI/UX experience -Color templates -graphical elements
  • Overall Impact
    On a scale from 1-5 measure how helpful the project will be for the community. society -does the submission solve a relevant issue? -is submission viable? executable? useful? -will the submission cause an impact?
